01 / THE SEQUENCER

A pattern is more
than a row of notes.

Compose one step at a time.

Set note, length and velocity for the track, then change individual steps. Tie notes together, play legato with Slide, or retrigger each step. Give every track its own speed and pattern length.

Lock the sound to the step.

Open your synth from a step and change an automatable parameter. Parameter locks recall those values as the pattern plays, so a single instrument can change character from one step to the next.

Connect your movement.

Route eight modulation sources to track settings and hosted instrument parameters. Adjust the amount for each route, and automate the sources from your DAW.

Find the next variation.

Play forward, backward, random or a repeating random order. Fill and shift patterns, randomize notes within your selected scale, and explore octave ranges without leaving the sequencer.

    Add Amanita Sequencer as an instrument in your DAW.

    Bring your instrument

    Choose an installed synth for a track. Its own editor opens when you need it.

    Make a pattern

    Enable steps, shape their notes and sound, then press Play in your DAW.

Your instruments are hosted inside Sequencer. Third-party instruments are installed separately and are not included.

macOS Apple Silicon is the currently validated platform. Windows and Linux releases are planned and require further validation. On Mac, run your DAW natively and use instruments with arm64 support. Intel-only instruments, Rosetta and CLAP are not supported.
