Free for personal and commercial music production. See FREEWARE-LICENSE.txt.
Download only from https://sequencer.amanita.music/.

Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 x64 and an x64 VST3-compatible DAW. The automated
verification was performed on Windows 11; Windows 10 is not separately tested.
- Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable (x64). If MSVCP140.dll,
VCRUNTIME140.dll or VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is missing, install the official
  Microsoft x64 package: https://aka.ms/vc14/vc_redist.x64.exe
  Documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist
- Hosted instruments must be x64 VST3. AU and CLAP are not supported.
- Built and automatically tested in Windows 11 (UTM); a real Windows DAW
smoke test has not yet been performed. This is a preview release.

Installation
1. Quit your DAW and extract the ZIP.
2. Copy the WHOLE Amanita Sequencer.vst3 folder into:
     C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
Windows may ask for administrator permission for this copy.
Keep Contents/ and all its files inside the .vst3 folder.
3. Restart your DAW and rescan plug-ins if necessary.
4. Add Amanita Sequencer as an instrument, choose an installed VST3 synth
or drop an audio sample onto a track, enable steps, and start the DAW transport.

The binary is not Authenticode signed. Check the archive's SHA-256 against
the manifest on the official website. Do not disable system-wide security
protections. BUILD-REPORT.txt records the completed checks and limitations.

Before updating a project, keep a backup. State schema v39 is used by this
version; it can load schema v20 onwards, but 0.0.9 and older cannot load
projects re-saved by 0.1.0. Third-party synths and samples are not included.

Uninstall by removing the installed .vst3 folder, with your DAW closed.
