Platforms
- macOS Apple Silicon: VST3 and Audio Unit (AUv2), macOS 12+.
- Windows x64: VST3, Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable x64 required.

Linux status
The Linux x64 VST3 compiled successfully but is not included in this release.
Testing found a repeatable crash during asynchronous hosted-instrument teardown.
It is withheld until the failure is fixed and validation passes.

Highlights
- Up to 16 instrument tracks and 256 steps per track on eight pages.
- Per-step notes, velocity, length, retriggers, ties and slides.
- Synth parameter locks and eight-source modulation routing.
- Modulation of track SPEED, including straight, dotted and triplet rates.
- Direct rotary-value entry with Cmd/Ctrl+click; Shift for fine adjustment.
- Plug-in hosting: VST3 on all platforms, plus AUv2 on macOS.

Freeware
Free to use for personal and commercial music production. Your music remains
yours. No account, payment or activation is required. This does not grant
permission to sell or mirror the plug-in; see FREEWARE-LICENSE.txt.
Third-party instruments are installed separately and are not included.

Preview limitations
- macOS bundles are ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or notarized.
  macOS may block downloaded plug-ins. Do not disable system-wide security.
- Windows binaries are not Authenticode signed.
- Windows passed all five automated test cases in a local UTM environment.
  A real Windows DAW smoke test is still pending.
- Mac release CTest: six passed, one expected CrossFormatMac skip because
  an Audio Unit with the same identifier was already installed.
- No new separate official VST3 validator or auval run for this package.
- No CLAP, Intel macOS, Rosetta or native Linux arm64 version is included.
- Existing Bitwig development use does not replace testing on your system.
- The vendor URL embedded in the VST3 metadata is still a development
  placeholder. Use https://sequencer.amanita.music/ for the product website.

State compatibility
This version writes schema v25 and accepts saved schemas v20-v25. An older
version of the plug-in may not load projects newly saved with this version.
Keep a backup of valuable DAW projects before updating.

Each archive contains INSTALL.txt, BUILD-REPORT.txt, the freeware licence
and full third-party notices/licences. The SHA256SUMS.txt file alongside
these downloads contains the hashes of the two public archives.
